Classroom Center Bundles

Setting up a learning center from scratch is a dozen little decisions. These bundles make it one decision. Each list is what an experienced preschool owner actually stocks — click any item to compare options on Amazon, pick what fits your budget, and your center is done. Pair them with the Milestone Wizard to know exactly what each age group should be doing in that center.

Heads up, friend: As an Amazon Associate, The Preschool Professional earns from qualifying purchases made through the links below — at no extra cost to you. Every item was chosen because it belongs in a real classroom, not because of the commission.

Dramatic Play Center

Toddler – VPK

Where children practice language, empathy, and real-world roles. The strongest center in most classrooms — and the first one parents fall in love with on a tour.

Mrs. Bear's tip: rotate the theme monthly — kitchen, doctor's office, flower shop — and the same furniture feels brand new.

Block Center

Toddler – VPK

Early math, physics, and teamwork disguised as play. A well-stocked block center keeps builders busy for a full center rotation.

Mrs. Bear's tip: tape simple road lines on the floor with painter's tape — the vehicles instantly organize the play.

Sensory Center

Infant – VPK

Where regulation happens. Children who struggle to settle anywhere else will settle here — it earns its floor space every single day.

Mrs. Bear's tip: for infants and young toddlers, keep everything taste-safe and sealed — the wizard's infant bands show which sensory picks fit each age.

Art Center

Toddler – VPK

Fine motor practice, self-expression, and the artwork that fills your hallway walls and family newsletters.

Mrs. Bear's tip: process over product — put out the materials and let them create. The refrigerator art sells your school better than any flyer.

Library & Cozy Corner

Infant – VPK

Every future reader starts here. A soft, inviting book corner doubles as your calm-down space — one investment, two licensing-friendly wins.

Mrs. Bear's tip: face the covers out, not the spines — children pick books with their eyes. Rotate a themed handful weekly.

Math & Manipulatives Center

Toddler – VPK

Counting, sorting, patterning, and the fine-motor strength that becomes handwriting. Small pieces, giant developmental payoff.

Mrs. Bear's tip: shallow trays keep manipulative pieces from wandering — one tray per child turns free play into a math lesson.

Science & Discovery Center

Preschool – VPK

The "why?" center. Feeds natural curiosity and gives you effortless documentation for portfolios and QRIS observations.

Mrs. Bear's tip: a sink-or-float tub made from your sensory table + the balance scale = a full week of lesson plans.

Music & Movement Center

Infant – VPK

Gross motor development, rhythm, and the transition tool that saves every teacher's sanity — clean-up songs work because music works.

Mrs. Bear's tip: movement scarves are the best two dollars in early childhood — they turn any song into a whole-body activity.
How to use these

Three steps to a finished center.

1. Pick your center. Each bundle above is complete on its own — click through the items, compare options and prices, and choose what fits your space and budget.

2. Check the ages. Open the Milestone Wizard, pick your state and age band, and you'll see exactly which skills each center supports — plus the specific materials each age group needs.

3. Set it up with purpose. Shelf height at children's eye level, materials they can reach themselves, and a plan to rotate. A center children can use independently is a center that teaches all day.
